Dao Yin with Master Li
Service Description
Service Description “Dao Yin” refers to guiding the smooth circulation of qi and blood within the body through specific physical movements, allowing energy to flow freely to the limbs and bones. This serves as a health-preserving method that strengthens the body and prolongs life. It is a system of exercises centered on directing and cultivating the body’s internal energy (qi), aiming to achieve harmony of body and mind, and unity between humanity and nature. Nine Forms - Hands Lift to Heaven - Hands Reach for the Feet - Heaven and Earth Rotate - Green Dragon Turns Its Head - Mooing Ox Strength - Rhinoceros Gazes at the Moon - Swallow Skims the Water - Great Roc Spreads Its Wings - Spirit Monkey Embraces the Elixir - The first three forms represent the harmony of Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. - The latter six are inspired by animal imagery: - The fourth form draws on the spirit of the Green Dragon to train the spine. - The fifth and sixth take inspiration from the ox and rhinoceros to cultivate strength. - The seventh and eighth imitate birds of the sky—the swallow and the great roc—to train lightness of body. - The ninth embodies the spirit monkey, practicing the embrace of the circle to return to unity.
